My ideas now include :
- which, if any, chemicals that can prevent the browning of apples- which could include chemicals like vinegar, water, soft-drinks, etc. I'm not sure yet how many apples or different chemicals i need, but i'm thinking this as my best idea, so far...
- does soft-drink/fizzy drinks affect the growth of plants- i saw this idea on some chick's poster from last year, so im thinking it would be pretty interesting. I could alter the drinks and plants, but base it on that similar time frame.
- what chemicals can effectively kill a weed, and fastest- my brother was doing this experimentn a while ago, and gave me this idea, so i was thinking it would be pretty interesting to do some really wierd ingrediants to test it on, like toothpaste, oils and vinegars and stuff from the kitchen.
They're pretty much my ideas so far, im supppperrr worried about this whole research thing though, science in general scares me ahah.

ReplyDeleteA few comments about your posts:
1. You have not posted enough information about your experiment for me to really understand what it is you want to do.
2. You haven't considered your experiments in enough detail eg. equipment, background research etc.
So when you get your marking criteria back, you'll notice that I haven't given you approval to do your project yet. This is mainly because I don't actually know about what project you want to do, but also you haven't explained ANY of them in enough detail for me to see whether your project is feasible for me to do or not.
